Chris Wadel
Director
Mr. Chris Wadel, a business leader, engineer, and community advocate, serves as the Executive Chair of Dauphin International Ltd. This organization oversees three operating companies: Daniels Engineering Ltd., Mambra Engineering Ltd., and JB Technologies LP. Dauphin International Ltd. is dedicated to building, acquiring, and managing companies that support the development of sustainable, safe, inclusive, and resilient cities and communities.
Chris has a strong interest in corporate governance and currently sits on the board of CAMPROSAM. He was the founding Chair of the Board at Edman Unlimited, previously served as Chair of the IPP Board until his retirement in 2020, and is also a former Director at Tougar Tilling Solutions.
Chris is a dedicated advocate for not-for-profit organizations. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Children's Hospital, where he held the position of Vice-Chair in his final year. He also previously served as a director for the Renaissance Community Foundation.
In 2020, Chris was honored as the 35th Allard Chair in Business at the University of Alberta. He received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 and was named one of UC's Top 20 Alumni over the past 20 years. In 2016, he was awarded an honorary Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He also holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from MacEwan University.
