Overview
Water is life—but in many parts of Cameroon, it is still a scarce, unevenly distributed, or poorly managed resource. As climate variability intensifies and rural livelihoods face growing pressure, empowering communities to take control of water resources is key to sustaining agriculture, improving food security, and fostering economic resilience. This integrated approach places community empowerment, sustainable farming, and water access at the heart of rural transformation.

At CAMPROSAM, we work to build a more resilient, food-secure, and water-sustainable future for rural communities across Cameroon. Through locally driven solutions and research-backed innovation, we address the critical links between agriculture, water, and climate resilience.
Water Resource Development & Management
We improve access to clean, reliable water for farming and daily use by:

Installing solar-powered boreholes and community taps

Rehabilitating and maintaining water infrastructure

Training local water user committees for long-term sustainability
